Last year my son was complaining about frequent headaches. We took him to the doctor and everything checked out OK. However he was still complaining about his head hurting. After doing some research and talking to other parents I decided to take him to the eye doctor. Well the reason he was getting headaches was because of his eyes. We ordered the glasses and she told him that he only needs to wear them while reading, homework and watching TV or playing games for more than 20 minutes at a time. That doesn’t seem so bad right? Well, I think that I have seen him in them a couple of times! I keep reminding him how important it is to wear them but as a pre-teen he knows everything.
Even with the insurance covering most of the price we still had a big bill because he picked one of the highest pair of frames that he could find! I was hoping he would pick the cheap eyeglasses since he wouldn’t be wearing them all the time, but that look he gave me said it all. I remember calling his dad and telling him the price and he was like well if he wants them get them. The most important part is getting something that he is going to wear so of course he promised this frame was the one. EVEN IF WE ARE JUST PAYING MORE BECAUSE OF THE DESIGNER NAME!
Now after seeing all the great reviews about zennioptical.com I am pretty upset that I paid that much for these glasses! Especially since he don’t even wear them! By using the latest modern materials, manufacturing and marketing systems they are able to bring the product direct from the factories to consumers. With No middlemen, no retail overhead, and practically with no advertising budget they depend on satisfied customers to spread the word!
So does your child wear glasses? If so how do you make sure they are wearing them like they should?
