I posted a few weeks back announcing that my family was doing the Listerine Oral Care Challenge! I was a bit worried that the kids would get off track during the Holidays! They tend to get lazy when school is out. However, I am happy to say they stayed on track! Thanks to Princess Jada reminding the older two of course! She has always taken her oral care very serious and I hope that she keeps it up. She loved her new barbie toothbrush and smart rinse.
The older two still need a little more work to be on the right track! They always brush but, doing the flossing and rinsing with mouth wash is not always in the daily routine like it should be. With this Challenge I was glad to see them taking the extra steps and challenge so seriously! We actually have our 6 month oral check-up and cleaning coming up next month! Even though the official challenge ended it doesn’t stop in this house! To complete the challenge, kids, alongside their parents, had to brush, floss and rinse every day, twice a day for two weeks-a key step in building a strong oral care foundation.
When the package arrived with all our products the kids was very excited. I found this to actually be funny since we have a stock pile of these same products thanks to couponing! I guess it was just the fact that it was something “new” and also included the Smart rinse (which we didn’t have on hand).
Listerine is the only brand that we buy now since our dentist only recommends this brand. I remember as a child I hated Listerine, Especially the orange colored one. The taste was so strong! Now that I am older I don’t mind the taste but I also feel that the taste as changed over the years! My favorite product now is the Listerine Total care Zero! It’s less intense and has zero alcohol but providing 6 benefits in one!
Oral care is very important and the best time to get your kids in the habit is when they are younger! The sooner the better! As always I enjoyed this challenge and glad to say that my kids are back on track! Can’t wait to go to the dentist and see if we improved from the last visit!
*I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Listerine and received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate*

It seems when Gillian was younger she took better care of her teeth, now that she is getting older she is getting lazier.
