Here Lately I have been looking for Natural remedies and Have heard a lot Of Great Stuff about Coconut oil. I have been using It For at least 5 months now and have had Great Results From Glowing healthy skin and hair ,More energy to even WEIGHT LOSS which i will admit I didn’t really believe the weight loss clams till i seen it myself Which I have decided to blog on this later this week on a separate post.
I have been using Jarrow and the Nutiva Brand But was very Happy to be able to Review Tropical Traditions they even provided me with the Great book Virgin Coconut Oil: How it has changed people’s lives and how it can change yours! by Brian and Marianita Shilhavy. Which is a Must Read if you have not heard about all the benefits of coconut oil cause you will be truly amazed just like i was when I first started my reading about it online. This book is filled with testimonies and research showing how healthy coconut oil is, and it also includes over 85 recipes showing how one can incorporate coconut into their diet.
I wasn’t expecting the oil to be much Different then the other brands to be honest But Must say I was WRONG and this will be the brand I use from now on. The Taste Is so much better and so smooth! So I know a lot of you are asking what is Virgin Coconut oil… Well Virgin Coconut Oil is a food, and is one of the best cooking oils you can use. It has been a staple cooking oil for thousands of years in tropical climates. As a cooking oil, its chemical structure is kept in tact and therefore is resistant to mutations of fatty acid chains even when used in higher cooking temperatures, unlike most vegetable oils. Research shows that the medium chain fatty acids found in coconut oil boosts the body’s metabolism, raises body temperatures, and helps provide greater energy which can lead to weight loss.
How does one use Coconut Oil?
There are many ways to use coconut oil and incorporate it into one’s diet. Since it is a stable cooking oil, one can simply replace unhealthy oils in their diet with coconut oil. Since it is a solid most of the time at room temperature or when refrigerated, it can be a butter or margarine substitute for spreads or for baking. Any recipe calling for butter, margarine, or any other oil can be substituted for coconut oil. It is popularly mixed in with “smoothies.” Many people do eat it simply by the spoon full. If you refrigerate or freeze Virgin Coconut Oils the taste changes completely, and some describe it like a “candy” or “white chocolate.” Some people fill up ice cube trays with coconut oil and then store them in the freezer. Some people use it as a spread, many people use it with fruit smoothies, and a lot of people put it into their coffee or tea
