Spring Break is officially over! That also means my spring cleaning and house projects are now complete! This year spring cleaning has been way more than I expected! I even bought new furniture for the whole house! That’s why when I heard about Mom Central’s Guardsman blog tour I knew I wanted in! I was so excited when I got the email saying I was accepted!
Guardsman is launching their “Stop Cleaning. Start Caring™” campaign with Tracy Hutson, designer from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, to rethink traditional furniture cleaning. The new furniture beauty routine includes dusting, cleansing, hydrating, polishing and, of course, covering those tiny imperfections. Guardsman has been at the forefront of furniture care for nearly 100 years, leading the way with expertise, products and solutions to help revitalize, protect and restore furniture. With over 20 furniture care products that repair and nurture fabric, wood, leather, mattresses and other home furnishings, homeowners can nourish their beloved pieces without worry.
The best part is you can share their favorite furniture story on Guardsman.com and Tracy Hutson will select one lucky winner to receive a personal design session in their home. This includes a $1500 room re-accessorizing and shopping experience, plus a suite of Guardsman products! And if that wasn’t enough, Guardsman is donating $25,000 to Habitat for Humanity to kick off this campaign.
The product that I received was the Purifying Wood Cleaner.
Gives wood a fresh clean start.
- Gently and effectively removes dirt, grime, fingerprints, food and beverage stains and oily films.
- Wipes away dull surface buildup left by some wood and furniture polishes.
- Use prior to first-time use of Guardsman® polish to enhance luster. Use more frequently on surfaces susceptible to heavy soiling, such as kitchen tables, cabinets, drawer fronts, railings and banisters.
For best results, follow with Guardsman Revitalizing Wood Polish for a rich, low-luster shine. Continue to use polish regularly to enhance and preserve wood’s natural beauty.
Use on finished, sealed wood including furniture, cabinetry, trim, molding and antiques. Not intended for use on oil-finished or unsealed woods. For oil-finished woods, use Guardsman Revitalizing Lemon Oil.
The reason I wanted the wood cleaner was really for my kitchen cabinets! As many of you know I replaced my old cabinets 2 years ago. I am in love with the new ones, however I have been noticing that they are not shinning like they used to. And not to mention the dull build up left behind due to the other polish I have been using! When I started cleaning with the Purifying Wood Cleaner I could tell the difference IMMEDIATELY! My cabinets were looking like they did when I first got them!
I was truly amazed with the outcome. I will admit I never have used the Guardsman’s brand before! After reading some of the other great reviews on the different products, It’s safe to say that I will be picking up furniture polish, the dusting cloth and of course the Fabric Protector for my living room set on my next shopping trip!
So now I want to hear how you keep your furniture and cabinets looking new?!
