Zoo Atlanta welcomes educators and their families to Educator Appreciation Day presented by PNC Bank and sponsored by Kaiser Permanente and Macy’s, coming up Saturday, March 14. Educators enjoy free admission with educator I.D.
WHAT:
As part of the biannual event, educators will also enjoy $2 off general admission for accompanying guests, as well as a 10-percent discount at Zoo gift shops and food outlets; stop by the Ford Pavilion from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to receive a coupon.
Educators are invited to stop by the Zoo’s Educators’ Lounge to meet members of the Zoo Atlanta Education Team and visiting vendors. Children will enjoy private animal encounters and face-painting.
Eligible educators include local and out-of-state early education through university-level teachers (current and retired); homeschool parents; informal educators; administrative support staff; and active Georgia PTA members (one eligible PTA member per family). Acceptable forms of ID include an employee ID with a photo; pay stub or name badge imprinted with the school’s name or county and state-issued photo ID; homeschool declaration of intent with state-issued photo ID; or current Georgia PTA membership card with state-issued ID.
