Thanksgiving is right around the corner and will be here before we know, which means so will the biggest shopping day of the year! That’s right, I’m referring to Black Friday!! Everyone loves to get out there early Friday morning and get those amazing deals and knock out some of your big list of Christmas shopping! Have you ever had just a horrible experience on a Black Friday sale? Ever get overwhelmed and stressed with all of the people around and it being so hectic around you?? I know I have!
I’m going to help you out this year, here are 5 Tips for surviving Black Friday shopping without completely wanting to pull your hair out from all the madness! LOL
1. Stay Calm: If you start to freak out in all of the madness and long lines, you’ll just stress yourself out more than what is necessary and you may miss out on some really great deals because you’re too busy worrying about what’s going on around you, focus on what you’re there for… the shopping!
2. Study ahead of time: Investigate ads and websites from the stores that you are planning to go to ahead of time, this way you know what to look for and where to get it! You can even circle the things you want in each ad, or use post it notes to mark them on each page for easy access!
3. Create a Budget and Withdraw That Money: To avoid any overspending you may encounter on Black Friday, plan out a budget for the cost of each store and things you plan to buy. Withdraw this money, that way you know when you run out cash, you’ve hit your budget!
4. Online Shop: If you’re someone that absolutely hates the crowds and long lines that come with the territory of Black Friday Shopping then do as much of your shopping online as you can! A lot of stores like Amazon, put some really great deals online for this shopping event as well, some even as early as Thursday and you could get a bit of a head start on some stuff so you don’t have as much to look for in person!
5. Bring a Friend: I wouldn’t recommend Black Friday Shopping by yourself, ever! By bringing a friend you have someone to not only keep you company as you wait in those long lines, but you also have double the amount of eyes looking out for great deals! You can help each other out grabbing all the things you may need!
