I was invited by Mom Central to review the New SLYVANIA’s halogen SUPERSAVER light bulb. I know most of you’re thinking wow what’s the big deal with a light bulb, But It’s a very Big deal in this house!  With Trying to “Go Green” without breaking the bank this is my answer!
The Federal government in the US has enacted the Energy Independence and Security Act, which is supposed to phase out traditional incandescent bulbs in favor of greener options anyways, which means you might as well change now!
HALOGEN SuperSaver® lamps bridge the gap between incandescent and CFL lighting solutions by offering superior light quality and energy savings at an affordable price.
Sylvania’s new halogen Super Saver bulbs look just like your standard incandescent bulbs, but use thirty percent less energy. The SYLVANIA halogen SUPERSAVER® light bulbs are available in 28-watt (40-watt replacement), 43-watt (65-watt replacement), 72-watt (100-watt replacement) and in a variety of flood lights in 35, 50 and 80-watts, and can be purchased at www.sylvania.com/HalogenSS
To be honest I was very amazed how great these light bulbs were. I was worried that it would be too dim for me, but it wasn’t!  THANK YOU Mom Central AND Sylvania!

These light bulbs are terrible, and you have to wait to find out this out. I bought an 8 pack about a month ago, and have gone through all of them. You shouldn’t right a good review based more on the free received products and other perks you might have received. These are the worst light bulbs I’ve ever used. And I’ve never disliked a light bulb like this before. I don’t like the light that comes from cfl’s, but for these I actually cut out the 2 upc codes I had (of the 4) and returned them to the company asking for replacements. I don’t know what I’ll do with them. Maybe I’ll try to sell them back to Sam’s Club.

Wow I am sorry you didn’t like them.. I haven’t had any issues with them. I was only speaking from my experience. I have had trouble with other name brand light bulbs doing the same as these are doing you. It seemed like i was changing light bulbs weekly! So trust me i understand your frustration. I hope the company will replace them for you or give you your money back. Do they have a 1-800 or email so you can contact them?
