Any parent knows that teething is miserable in a variety of ways—and for quite a good chunk of time. Our little lady—who has a bizarre number of teeth for her age—handles teething pretty well, but the poor thing is still very obviously uncomfortable. Between a runny nose, a sometimes-upset tummy, and super-sensitive gums, it’s all I can do to try to find ways to relieve her pain. We usually use Hyland’s Teething Tablets (she hates Orajel), but I try not to overmedicate her, and Tylenol doesn’t do much for her teething pain. Chewbeads are great, safe teethers for little ones. I especially loved the attachment beads because they’re perfect for on-the-go trips, for the grocery store, etc., and Isla especially loves the bright colors (we got them in fuchsia).

I received these, washed them, and immediately gave them to Isla after showing her they were for chewing. She carried them around all day, loving not only how vivid the colors are, but also that the beads get to her hard-to-reach molars. Since getting them, she doesn’t let them out of her sight. Her canines and molars are coming in at the moment, and I think this honestly does provide her some great relief. We bring them in the car, to the store, and to Grandma’s house. She doesn’t go anywhere without them.

Overall, I’m incredibly happy with these. I wish we had received some (or had even known about them) back when Isla first started teething, as I think she would have loved them even more then, but I’m glad to have them now. Plus, Chewbeads is awesome and sent us three attachments! We are saving some for any future babes we have, of course.
