Do you want to go green but sometimes feel that your actually spending more money on “green products” ? I know that I sometimes feel like this on certain products. Now I have gone green with Marcal Small Steps and actually saving money in the process! Marcal’s NEW line of bath tissue, paper towels, napkins and facial tissue are all made from 100% recycled paper!
I actually started using the Marcal products by accident and have been a customer ever since. One night I was almost home and forgot that i was supposed to pick up Bath tissue so since I was running late I decided to just stop at this little store above the house to get enough to last till i went back in town. I will be honest I didn’t even think about the brand name and picked up the first thing i seen since they didn’t have my regular brand. I have to admit I was impressed. The Quality is just as good, if not better then other brands and the price made it even better!
When I heard Marcal was looking to promote this new line I jumped on it! That’s how much I believe in this product. Marcal sent me a home starter kit that had ever thing in the product line. I knew the products were good but I was not aware they carried paper towels, napkins and facial tissue also! I am so happy that now I can feel better by going green and not having to spend extra money to do it!
Since 1950, Marcal has been making paper from recycled paper, not trees. The name Small Steps was carefully chosen as there are so many busy people who want to do the right thing for the planet but often feel overwhelmed about how to start, or fear going green means some sort of sacrifice – either lifestyle or performance or money. Small Steps shows how our small actions can aggregate to making a big difference. For instance, if every household in the US were to buy a roll of Small Steps, together we could save one million trees.
Marcal believes no one should have to pay a premium to “Go Green.” Consumers are often amazed to learn that 98 percent of bath tissue, paper towels, facial tissue and napkins are made by cutting down trees and clearing forests. Throughout the company’s history, Marcal has collected paper from curbs in residential neighborhoods across the Northeast, from the small blue baskets in office buildings across America, junk mail, and waste from printers all in an effort to do something good… to produce something people need.

I found out that for over 50 years, Marcal has been making its paper from recycled paper, not from trees.
I learned that the company uses recyclables from more than 600 municipalities

Use a programmable thermostat. A programmable thermostat allows you to predetermine temperatures for daytime and evening comfort as well as energy savings. It can save you as much as 20 percent if you opt to reduce temperatures by 5 degrees at night and 10 degrees during the day when most people are out of the house

They have a project to save 1million trees!!
I subscribe to your newsletter.
I found a coupon for their products in the Sunday newspaper, but haven’t been able to find where their products are sold. From their website I found out that they are sold at Albertson’s about 12 miles from me! I am over that way a couple of times a month! This is great!
